Proof-of-skill on the blockchain

How would a digital native solution for education look on the blockchain? Instead of finishing a degree at a higher building institution, skill can be proven with crypto credentials, such as Non-fungible tokens (NFTs). A cryptographic proof-of-skill, so to say.

Think about a classical degree, earned at university. All courses must be fulfilled to received it. 9/10 still equals 0.

Blockchain technology could be used to prove what one is capable before receiving a final diploma. It could qualify individuals for microtasks. Every time a problem is solved during an educational process, the progress is documented on a decentralized ledger.
